The Content Management System (CMS) in Uni8 is designed to help you efficiently manage all the news, blog posts, and other content published within your community. This powerful tool allows you to categorize, create, and manage content easily, ensuring your community remains engaged and informed.
Categories help organize your content, making it easier for members to find what they’re interested in. Follow these steps to create a new category:
Click on the + Add Category button in the CMS dashboard.
A form will appear:
Title: Enter the name of the category.
Slug: This is the URL-friendly version of the title, usually auto-generated but can be customized.
Attachment: Upload an image to represent the category if needed.
Description: Provide a brief description of the category to help users understand its content.
Once you’ve filled in all the details, click Add to save the category.
To manage existing categories:
In the CMS dashboard, you will see a list of all current categories.
Each category will display its title, the number of posts under it, and action buttons.
Edit Category: Click the pencil icon to edit the category details.
Delete Category: Click the trash bin icon to remove a category. Be careful as this action cannot be undone.
