Install the App
Your community offers a mobile app you can add to your home screen for quick, full-screen access — no app store required. The experience works like a native app once installed.
Automatic install works on Android Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet. iOS Safari requires manual steps. Desktop install works in Chrome and Edge.
Prerequisite: The community admin must have enabled and published the mobile app before the install prompt appears. Community admins publish the mobile app via Mobile App settings.
Install on Android
On Android, your browser automatically detects that the app is installable and shows a banner at the bottom of the screen after about 30 seconds.
Steps
- Open your community in Chrome, Edge, or Samsung Internet
- Wait for the "Install this app" banner to appear at the bottom of the screen
- Read the description: "Add to your home screen for quick access"
- Tap Install to confirm
The app installs and opens immediately in full-screen mode.
Dismiss options
If you're not ready to install, you have two options:

| Don't remind me | Banner is permanently hidden |
If you tapped Don't remind me by mistake, you can still install the app manually through your browser's menu (Chrome: three-dot menu > Add to Home Screen).
Install on iOS
On iOS, installation is a manual process using Safari's share menu. The app will show an in-screen guide after about 30 seconds.
Steps
- Open your community in Safari (not Chrome or Firefox — those do not support installation on iOS)
- Wait for the install guide to appear at the bottom of the screen
- Follow the three steps shown on screen:
- Tap the Share button in Safari
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add to confirm
The app icon appears on your home screen and opens in full-screen mode on next launch.
Dismiss options

Note: If you dismissed the guide, you can still install at any time by tapping the Share button in Safari and selecting Add to Home Screen manually.
Install on Desktop
On desktop computers, Chrome and Edge support installation as well.
- Open your community in Chrome or Edge
- Look for the install icon in the address bar (a screen with a download arrow)
- Click it and follow the prompt
The community opens in its own window without browser toolbars.
After Installing
Once installed, launch the app from your home screen or desktop. You'll see a brief splash screen, then land directly in your community. See App Tour for what to expect.
